Compete
Sudoku leaderboards and fastest times
Ranked Classic games record your best solve times by difficulty and on the daily challenge. Every submission is verified server-side, so the times at the top are times you can trust.
Ranked by difficulty
Separate boards for Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert, plus the daily challenge, so you compete on equal footing.
Fastest time wins
Your best time for each board is what ranks. Beat your personal best to move up.
Fair play
Identity and eligibility are checked on the server, and implausible times are declined, so the board stays clean.
How ranking works
Only Classic games count toward the leaderboard. Relaxed modes like Zen and the timed mode are for practice and fun, so they never write a score. When you finish a ranked game, your time, difficulty, and daily status are sent to the server, checked against the day's official puzzle, and stored as your best if it beats your previous time.
Because scoring lives on the server and never trusts values from the browser, the leaderboard reflects real solves. That is what makes chasing the top spot worthwhile.
Champions: wins and streaks
Beyond raw speed, the Champions boards rank the players with the most completed wins and the longest daily-challenge streaks. Consistency is its own kind of mastery, so showing up every day is rewarded alongside the fastest single solve.
